Hello and a big Happy New Year to all our lovely friends.
A quick 2014 update from us. We have closed the Stable doors for the chilly winter until our big re-opening in the spring. We're busying ourselves once again doing what we love best, sourcing the unusual, scouring markets, meeting new makers and suppliers and can't wait to share our wonderful new finds with you. Do keep an eye on our website and facebook page. Coming soon will be a 'click and collect' option so although the shop itself is closed for now, you can still shop! Phew.
The Noah’s Ark is a beautiful 16th century Inn situated in the picturesque village of Lurgashall, overlooking the cricket green and nestled beneath Blackdown Hill on the borders of Surrey and West Sussex.
Full of charm and character there is a wonderfully traditional bar area with large inglenook fireplace and ancient beams, perfect for putting the world to rights in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Three ales, one frequently changing guest, head the drinks list In addition to a full range of wines, lagers and soft drinks.
The Noah’s Ark offers superb, traditional British food with a contemporary twist, using ingredients sourced from the very best local suppliers. Wild girolle mushrooms are picked from Henry’s Uncle Wills’ secret locations and Trout is caught from Arundel Chalk Springs....
"The Noah’s Ark is above all, a local village public house"
